Our food today is saturated with chemicals from processing. Artificial flavorings, colorings and unprouncable words are among ingredients sold in the super market food. Disease and obesity have sky rocketed as we rely more on convenience foods for sustenance. Massive large scale farming does not allow animals to be in their natural environments eating the way God intended. In natural settings, animals graze on plants valuable to their health and pass those health benefits in the food chain. Our farm represents a move away from corporate agriculture into a world once known to us sixty plus years ago. The information found on this site is to educate you about the benefits of eating farm fresh. Not only does farm fresh food taste good, it is healthy.
Inspiring You
Producing farm fresh food is a joy for our whole family. Countless memories are made as we share in the hard work here on the farm. Working together has increased our bond as a family and enriched our lives. We have experienced fascination by making our own foods the old fashioned way. In a world that relies on modern conveniences, basic skills have become obscure. We experience great joy watching milk metamorphose into cheese and cream into butter. Producing something of value with our own hands is exciting. We hope to encourage others to share in reviving lost arts by teaching you skills to make your own products whenever possible.
Uplifting You
Farming is a spiritual journey for us. We have learned more about God’s divine qualities while farming. His majesty can be explicitly seen in the birth of a new baby calf. His protection is felt when severe weather threatens livestock and they remain unharmed. His image refines us when we face trials on the farm. We acknowledge the farm is a gift from God. He has given us this gift so we can be a blessing to others. We pray as our family touches your life that you will experience the beauty of God’s love through our cottage ministry.
